What do you enjoy about summer?
~~~~~
How about...
Summer brings homemade ice cream, gardening, summer storms, watching lightning from the front porch, BBQ food, and knowing that in a few months fall will be here again, and winter.
ReplyDeleteStay cool!
No A/C, you poor thing! I remember those days, don't know how I survived, I was alot younger, that helped! lol Stay cool!
ReplyDeleteI grew up without a/c in Hawaii, but now, I think I would die. Can you send some heat up to Montana? We are still having lows in the 40's!
ReplyDeleteHi, Laura~
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by today! It's nice to see new faces.
I am so in agreement with you on this being the MELTING season! lol We only have a window unit in our family room for when it truly gets unbearable so my husband can get some sleep. I am a cool/cold weather girl....BRING ON THE SNOW! :> )
I look forward to getting to know you better!
Blessings~
Laura
I'm stopping by from the TOS crew so I could join your GFC followers.
ReplyDeleteI am not very good with extreme temperatures, either. I spent some glorious years in southern California and it spoiled me forever. But summer has its joys. thanks for the reminders!
Hi, Laura - I wanted to say thanks for stopping by and giving me an update on your bracelet and letting me know that I 'made the cut!" :-) I'm honored that you like reading my little blog and I feel likewise about yours:) I'm sorry it took me a while to respond. It always takes me about 2 months after Handsome gets home from deployments to get back into the swing of things, so I'm still working on balancing blog time with family time, and of course, family time is the priority. But I wanted to be sure and let you know how much I appreciate your visits, your blog, and your kind comments. Bless you as you continue to help the folks affected by the tornadoes!
ReplyDeletePortland , Oregon has been very hot too. In fact the temp is supposed to be 101 on Saturday and most place out here are not air conditioned either. We usually don't have this heat so we are suffering too. But I like your idea od looking on the bright (cool) side. This would work for all situations we face. Stopping by from Good Morning Mondays.
ReplyDeleteRebecca, I hope you read this. I couldn't find a way to contact you. Please look at my post about Coping with the Heat here.
