Looking to Jesus and Looking Forward
Hello dear readers,
Just a little update...
I'm one week out from my first chemotherapy session. I've been feeling pretty ill with side effects. Think of having the flu. Yeah, never mind. Don't think about it. It's not been fun.
Anyway, I'm still working out in my mind what I'm going to do here on the blog. I just published a couple of reviews, and I have a few left to get my pre-diagnosis obligations met. I hope to continue the thrifty week posts, but I just haven't done much but deal side effects this week and rest. I trust you'll be patient with me while I learn to be a good patient. Pun intended. ~smile~
For now, I'm hanging on to Jesus for dear life... literally. He is the author and finisher of my faith. I can trust him with my life, because he is completely trustworthy. What he has said, he will do. Healing is the children's bread. I'm asking for complete healing, and believing in faith that he will complete the work he's begun in me.
I'm so thankful for you dear ones who are taking this journey alongside me via the blog, Facebook, email, and by mail.
May God bless you all,
Laura

ReplyDeletePhilippians 4:19 ... God shall supply your need for renewed health. God shall supply your need for increased faith & trust in Him. God shall supply your need for comfort & peace through this trial. Not only your needs, but your family's needs also. God not onky supplies our tangible needs (food, shelter, finances), but our spiritual needs also. I'm praying for you & your needs at this time. God bless you all!

Laura, I would never expect you to keep up with your social media while chemo is draining everything you have and your rest is of the utmost importance. One or two sentences to let us know how you're doing so we can adjust our prayers accordingly, will suffice. I know that our Great Healer is with you every step of the way.
ReplyDeletePraying much for you, dear friend, and believing alongside you that GOD is going to heal you and bring you through it all.
ReplyDeleteI BELIEVE IT BECAUSE I BELIEVE GOD!
DeleteLaura, I agree with Sharon's comment. We are all concerned for your health and welfare. You need to bask in the Lord's healing comfort. Just to know how you are managing and if there is ANYTHING any of us can do. You are in my thoughts and prayers throughout the day and night. Know you are loved dear lady.
ReplyDeleteHugs, still praying!
ReplyDeleteDo what you can with the strength you are given. A little here and a little there will work for all of us until you get well! Will be in touch!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Roxy
Thank you all for your kindness to me!
