I've made an ambitious list, I know.
I want to squeeze all the joy I can from the season.
I thank God that Autumn has come again for me.
We think we plan our lives,
but we know not how many
Autumns we have left.

Hello Laura, Am sooo excited for you that the date has been set! Oct 10, Yes! Let's get it over and done with!
ReplyDeleteLove to you
It will be great to begin feeling myself again after this is all over. I find I'm not the same anymore, but in a good way.
DeleteBlessings,
Laura
Laura that is some bucket list. There are a few things I like to do. we have decorated for Fall and next week we will put up the Halloween decorations. I am
ReplyDeletereading Christmas books and have read Autumn magazines. Pumpkin pie is a favorite and will make pumpkin cookies. we take down the Fall decorations after Thanksgiving and start the Christmas decorating.
You are in my prayers.
HAPPY FALL
Marion
You've already been busy! I'm getting a slow start this year, but that's okay. I've been doing a lot of paring down and discarding.
DeleteBlessings,
Laura
Those are all great things! Jack burned a pumpkin candle the other day. Could only enjoy it for a little bit with my allergies but it was nice! Still praying for you.
ReplyDeleteQuite a bucket list! I have you in my prayers for a great outcome of the surgery. I had breast reduction surgery in 2007 and found that medical massage therapy with a certified medical masseuse really helped with some scar tissue that impinged on my ability to lift my arms. Please keep this in mind if you experience similar problems. Just a few sessions made quite a difference in getting total range of motion back quickly.
ReplyDeleteIt is, isn't it, Kelli? I do have until the end of November though. ~smile~ Thank you for the suggestions about the scar tissue.
DeleteThat is quite the list. I am thrilled for you that you have a date for reconstruction and am praying all goes well. I have made a start with lots of gifts and cards for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteGood for you Mama! Thank you for the prayers.

Hi Laura, All of your bucket list (apart from the surgery) sounded so perfect for Autumn...warm and inviting, like cozy Winter woolies. When I visited America I loved the Pumpkin-ee spicy candles, and especially the country stores that sold candles and melts etc. We don't have stores like that here (sadly). Laura please no I will be thinking of you and praying your surgery goes well. Another part of this big journey you've been on. We are all blessed that you are enjoying another Autumn - all praise to our God. Blessings to you ~ Linda
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
DeleteI wish we had more of the little country stores in my area. I burned one of the pumkiny candles today, but my husband did not like it. I suppose I'll have to find something with cinnamon or apple when he's around.
Thank you so much for praying for me. It's made all the difference in my life.
Your friend,
Laura
Hello sweet friend! So thankful to be here visiting with you today, it's been a busy summer, and I look forward to catching up with you! We must have that cup of tea together soon :) What a fun bucket list, and so fun to cross each thing off. I will be praying for you on the 10th as you have the surgery, that the Lord will be with you through it all! Always such a blessing to visit here and see how the Lord is continuing to bless and keep you in the midst of your difficult battle with the cancer. HE is so faithful! Blessings and hugs to you sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteHi Marilyn,
DeleteIt was indeed busy summer. I never even made a bucket list. Thank you for praying for me. God is taking care of me in so many ways. I appreciate your prayers so much.

Laura
Oh yay! I love your lists! Praying for your surgery.
ReplyDeleteIf it will ever cool off here we can feel like it is Fall! I want to go camping but it is just too warm yet.
Thanks Lana. It cools and warms here in Missouri.
DeleteHow are things with you?
