Spring Sunshine and Beauty and a New Beginning

My birthday fell on Mother's Day this year.
54!
What happened?
When did it happen?
The last couple of years have been so
focused on the cancer fight and recovery,
I barely noticed growing older.

We close on a home of our own on Friday.
Spring is here with all its fresh sunshine and beauty.
It just feels like a new start for my Lowell and me.

I'm looking forward to settling into
our little house in town. We already
have met a nice Christian family across the street,
and a couple from our church live down at the corner.
This move is a good thing.

  9. Hi Laura :) I am so happy for you and Lowell and your new home !!! We've been nusy renovating our 'old home'. Years ago I read a children's book called 'Dog House for Sale'. The story's about a dog doing his kennel up to sell, however he makes it so pretty and can't find anything better to buy, he decides to stay. That's how we feel with everything we do to this old home. :) Blessings to you ~ enjoy homemaking in your new home :) ~ Linda
