"Let no pleasure tempt thee,
no profit allure thee,
no persuasion move thee,
to do anything which thou knowest to be evil;
so shalt thou always live jollity;
for a good conscience is a continual Christmas."
- Benjamin Franklin
Ben Franklin had a lot of wisdom!
ReplyDeleteI like this photo so much, I remember my own children laying under our trees when they were much younger but I don't have a photo of them doing so.
ReplyDeleteWould you believer even my 5 year old granddaughter is figuring out the true meaning - her mom says whenever anyone asks Elizabeth what she wants for Christmas, Elizabeth replies she doesn't need anything and just wants everyone to have a nice Christmas.
Yes Ma'am he did.
DeleteGood morning Laura,
ReplyDeleteAre those children just enjoying the view from beneath the tree? We used to do that as children - what a special memory. I always hang special ornaments at the bottom of my tree for children who might find that cozy place.
Happy Monday,
♥Hope
What a wonderful idea Hope!
DeleteHi Hope,
ReplyDeleteYes, I think they were. I don't remember doing it myself, but no matter what our tree looked like, it was magical to me.
Blessings from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to you Hope!
Laura
