Make Do and Mend May

Make Do and Mend!

Keeping a family in clothing isn't always easy.  Many folks use credit cards to keep their kiddos covered.  I depend on gifts, hand-me-downs, yard sales, thrift shops, and my sewing skills.

This month I've mended:

3 pairs of jeans
1 pair of dress slacks
1 pair of shorts
1 skirt
1 pair Crocs shoes

I have also cut up clothes for rags.

We've made do by going to thrift stores and yard sales to supplement my children's clothing.

*Make Do and Mend is available through Amazon.  I am no longer an affiliate.

  1. That looks like an interesting read. I wonder if the library has it? I will have to check.

    Have a great weekend!

  2. I don't know Wendi, it's on my want to read list. If you look on Amazon, it has a good sized excerpt.

Thanks for writing me back!

This life only works with Jesus. The next life is a continuation of this one—make sure you spend it with Jesus. Jesus is the only way to God the Father!
