Hello everyone,
Did March pass in a blur for you like it did for me? I don't even know where it went. I can tell you one thing though, I am ready for blue skies, fresh Spring air, and the end of flu and virus season. Like you, I have been washing and praying.
Here are the things that I'm listening to this week:
I just finished Revelation on Bible.com. Now I need to decide whether to read the entire Bible or the New Testament next.
Yes I'm one of those ladies who loves Christmas stories all year round. Donna VanLiere has written several stories all centered around the same little town and characters. I really enjoy this reader, too. I downloaded this to my phone on my Scribd app.
You can see other books I'm reading on Goodreads.
While I listen or watch videos, I am also knitting earbud bags for gifts. I just finished these.
I think knitting for charity and praying during the knitting is one of my very favorite things to do. There are so many who need to feel cared for. But right now I am working on filling my gift boxes and sewing things we need. It is good to be proactive.
Blessings to all of you!
Remember... keep busy.
This too shall pass.

Have a homemade, handmade, heartmade thrifty week!

P.S I highly recommend using Scribd. You get unlimited ebooks and audio books plus other reading materials for just one low price. $8.99 a month. You don't have to pay per book. It's all included in the one price. It's the best money I've spent this year!
If you use my link, you'll get a 2 month free trial of Scribd, and I will get a free month as well. I'm not an affiliate, it's just a neat perk that they have for their subscribers who tell their friends. I've earned 180 free days just sharing how much I love their service! You can too.

Hi, I am trying to visit my favorite blogs and let them know I have a new one where I am writing: https://myalbearshome.blogspot.com/ I noticed the tinkle wipes, my granddaughter and I were discussing alternatives to toliet paper and this is a good idea....I haven't made a mask but might see if I can find a pattern for them.
ReplyDeleteI also went to goodreads and will follow you...I am currently reading The Pearl Brooch.
Mama Bear
Thanks so much Mama Bear. I will come for a visit. Be blessed! Hugs!
DeleteSeeing that you are so busy and happy makes me ashamed of myself. I need to do more and keep busy.
ReplyDeleteNo shame, dear. We're all going through this for the first time. I choose to be as uplifting and joyful as I can through this. God will take care of us, and I don't want to pull anyone down. There is no condemnation.
DeleteHugs,
Laura
Hi Laura;
ReplyDeleteHappy to know that you are okay. What a scary and worrisome time . I am reading "History Of Ireland" by Malachy McCourt and many Easter books. All our shopping is on line. As you probably know New York is extremely bad. I only go out around the house or walk to the mail box. I have Asthma so I have to be extra careful.
God Bless and stay well you and yours.
Marion
Keep safe Marion, and trust God. He will protect you and provide for you.

Laura, How our days seem to have changed in the month of March. I had many plans that have now had to change and I am certainly not happy about most of them. I am reading more as well. God Bless
ReplyDeleteI understand Carol. I am currently doing very little of what I would like to do. Between taking this job, church cancellations, and my knitting and book club being canceled, I've become a bit of all work and no play. Having everyone home all day even if I'm not, means there are more messes, too. ~smile~BUT GOD.I'm learning to enjoy the little things even more.Be blessed,Laura
DeleteHi Laura. I don't read much on my kindle and really prefer paper and ink, but Scribd sounds like a great deal. I do love those socks you are knitting. I am on Goodreads too and have sent you a friend request. Hope you have a good Friday and weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Deb. I will have to check Goodreads for your request. Enjoy your weekend.Hugs,Laura
DeleteYour book looks like it is set in Regency era England. Is it good?

Delete'Just stopping by to say "hello". Across the United States all of our lives changed so much in the month of March 2020. It was definitely a blur! Thank you for the book recommendation. I'm currently reading "H is for Hawk". -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures
ReplyDeleteHi Marci, Long time no talk or see. Did you know that the Sandstone Gardens burned down a few months ago? It was in the middle of the night. I never heard what caused the fire. It was so sad. We had a lovely time there. So much in life has changed since then. So much has changed in March this year! It's so go to hear from you. God bless you and help you live every day to the fullest.Hugs,Laura
