It seems all the world is aflutter these days. Nothing seems quite firm under our feet right now. So many things have changed so quickly. Good thing we stand on the Rock of our Salvation. Cabin fever is, in some cases, being taken to an extreme. Have you noticed it? Are you home more than usual? Is your family home more than usual? Has there been an economic impact on your life? When one thing changes, there is often a domino effect.
BUT GOD is rich in mercy. God did not cause this pandemic, but I believe He will use it for good. I believe that He is good, He loves us, and that He will work all things together for good for those of us who love the LORD and are called according to His purpose. That's all of us if we love Him.
I hope this finds you all well. These are certainly interesting times we're going through. Yes through. We will see the other side of this. Is it not amazing how quickly things can change? But God is unchanging, and it is in HIM that we put our trust.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9.

THANK YOU.
ReplyDeleteBeing retired and a widow - I have no difference in finances at this time. My days and weeks are very much the same as always. I may not go out shopping, but I stay home a lot any way.
ReplyDeleteI have complete faith our Lord is in charge and put myself in His loving and protective hands. I pray morning, noon and night that this illness will soon pass and people can continue to move forward with jobs.
God bless you!
God bless you Cheryl. May God take care of you in every way, and may He bring Covid 19 and all the hysteria to a close in Jesus' name.Hugs,Laura
DeleteThank you for sharing this! I feel at times it is hard to remember that God is still right by our side.

ReplyDeleteHello! Hope you're doing well! Other than my hours' long grocery hunting adventures, most of life has been as usual. The kids are going a little stir crazy missing friends and church. I'm loving the opportunity to work on some new routines, child training, etc. Ha! Yes, this will pass...and hopefully we will have learned some things about slowing down. Let me know if you guys need anything. Love to you!
ReplyDeleteAlways a joy to my heart when I visit you here.

Amen, Laura! I completely agree that God will work this to our good. Our lives haven't drastically changed as we live in a very rural area and don't go out much. Blessedly my husband's work as a self-employed carpenter has only slightly slowed down so far. We are finding many joys in the current situation and continuing to lift the entire world up in prayers!
ReplyDeleteNo great changes to finance or our lifestyle here. We are ever hopeful that more people will turn to the Lord.
ReplyDeleteOur Lord is always with us. This Holy Week especially.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement. Happy Easter!
