I'm trying to read a chapter a day.
So far, I've been hit or miss. |
|
I'm reading this now. |
|
This is started slow.
I didn't really get into it.
I lost interest and returned it to the library. |
|
Still reading. |
Yes, I'm a fairly quick reader. I'm going to try to fit in an hour a day, but I will probably mostly snatch read. No, I don't know if I will make it, but I'll try. Yes, I am trying to follow the
Trim Healthy Mama Plan. I've been at it for two weeks now. Five pounds down.

May I suggest?
Great list. Some great reads. I've read a couple.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
Thanks Lynn. It was rather daunting when I made the list, but I'll just plug away at it and see what happens.
DeleteCONGRATULATIONS!!!! HOORAY for you, my friend! It is SO hard for me to lose one pound, so five is a major accomplishment. Keep up the great work! God bless you today. :)
ReplyDeleteI think I can. I think I can. I think I can.
DeleteDear Laura....how very sweet of you to leave me the comment you did. It is hard to believe we have both been blogging for 8 years!!!! I'm so glad that little ornament project brought back great memories. Time goes by way to fast with our little people doesn't it? So glad you are doing well and thank you again for your note - it made my day! God Bless
ReplyDeleteIt was my pleasure Cathy. Thanks so much for talking back. ~I won't tell your mom.~ My youngest won't remember making the ornies. Maybe I'll try to fit it in this year. I've got a pretty packed fall already, but maybe....
DeleteLet's keep in touch!
Blessings,
Laura
Best wishes on your reading list.. [wouldnt it be nice , to be able to read anytime we wished, without the "gotta do house work", "gotta cook" hanging over us.ha
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the weight loss.
Thanks Judy. Yes, it would be nice to have even a single day without any housework or cooking!
DeleteGood for you Laura!
ReplyDeleteAre you using their products or substituting cheaper alternatives?
You are an ambitious reader.
I am still off reading the Amish, A Faith Of Her Own, right now by Kathleen Fuller.
Hope you have a great week!
Mostly reviews, Annie. It comes with the season. Fall is always busiest because of the additional Christmas books, but I just can't seem to say no to them. ~falalalala~
DeleteGreat job on your weight loss. You sound like me, I'm reading several books too. I'm also reading that same Parenting book. I like it so far - it's pretty honest.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestions! I love good books. Congrats on the weight loss. Keep it up! It's inspiring!

Oh, you read such good books. I'm a crime novel junkie myself and read some pretty dark things. However, I do come out from the dark side every few books to lighten the mood.
ReplyDeleteHave you read the tea shop novels by Laura Childs? She writes some good who-dun-its that are set in Charleston that are intriguing without being dark. The first is called Death by Darjeeling.
DeleteOoh, thanks for the tip. I'll add that to my list.
DeleteOoh, thanks for the tip. I'll add that to my list.
DeleteLove your list of books and that's great that you've lost 5 pounds!

Thanks Vickie.
DeleteWhat a great list! I've added a couple of them to my want to read list.
ReplyDeleteCool Donna! Which ones caught your eye?
DeleteAre you enjoying "Experiencing God Through His Names"? I think it sounds like a good read. Thank you for sharing at Home Sweet Home!
