Happy Homemaker Monday ~ May 22, 2017

As I write...  Sunday night

The weather.... Beautiful! Dark with cool breezes

Right now I am... just finishing up some copy work in my journal. I was transferring notes I've taken over the last few weeks.

Thinking... about my new haircut. Thanks Wendy!

On my reading pile...
  • Bible: I'm ready to start again. I'm trying to decide whether to start with the Old or New Testament.
  • Never Give Up
Don't miss my Spring reading list!
Favorite blog post last week...

Something fun to share...
Blog hopping...
On the menu for this week....

My husband made the menu. He and the kids will cook. I don't know what yet.
On my to do list... Fun Stuff—not ~smile~

  • appointments and errands
In the workbasket... I didn't knit last week, but I might start a dish cloth this week.

Looking forward to this week... Christmas!

Looking around the house... The bathroom is almost finished. My girlfriend gave me a nice picture for the wall, so I didn't have to go to Hobby Lobby. I need to show it to my husband and see if he likes it, too. Thanks Ginny!

Devotional...

Revelation to a Writer

On my prayer list...
  • Healing in my body
  • Wisdom for President Trump and our government officials
  • Kristen, Cheryl of Homespun Devotions' niece, is still fighting for her life and for her baby's. She has blood clots in her lungs and heart troubles.
  • Healing for Ellen—She's now in a rehab center!
  • Peace of Jerusalem and Israel
Father God, I pray that each reader will know the love of God in a very real and personal way. I ask that Holy Spirit speak, teach, and comfort each reader. Bring salvation and healing through your son Jesus the Christ. I pray that you will be glorified in their lives. I ask all in Jesus' Name.  I plead the blood of Jesus over every reader and their loved ones! Amen.

  1. I love your new haircut...how different---I love the back---I wish I had curly hair. After I lost my hair due to cancer, it never did grow back thick or long, sigh and smiles...I am so use to seeing you in long hair, my friend.

    Keeping you in prayer....

    1. It's actually rather thin. I just don't have two hairs that agree to go in the same direction! Be blessed friend!

  10. I am a new reader, and I have enjoyed your blog. Your new haircut is pretty. What a great picture of your children.
I'm not sure what you are going through healthwise, but I will pray for healing for you. I was diagnosed with breast cancer when my children were 3 & 5, and He has blessed me to see them into adulthood. Just take it one day at a time.
