Laura's Sweet Potato Casserole

Mix together:
3 cups mashed sweet potatoes,
1 cup sugar,
1/2 cup butter,
2 beaten eggs,
1 t vanilla
1/3 cup evaporated milk
Pour into well-greased casserole.
Topping:
1/2 cup brown sugar,
1/4 cup flour
2 1/2 T butter
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Mix together topping ingredients except pecans until crumbly.
Sprinkle over potatoes, then sprinkle with nuts.
Bake at 350 degrees 30 minutes.
If you wish, add marshmallows during last ten minutes.
Makes an 8x8 pan.
A 32 oz can of yams will make one recipe.
